Candle Care and Tips

To ensure a safe and long-lasting burn from your handcrafted candles, please follow these simple guidelines:

Trim the Wick: Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before every single burn to prevent smoking and soot buildup.

The First Burn: Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar during the first burn (usually 2 to 3 hours). Any wax hangup on the side of the jars are completely normal and should catch up the more you burn your candle.

Burn Time: Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Safety First: Always burn candles within sight, away from drafts, children, pets, and flammable materials. Never move or touch a candle while it is burning.

The Final Inch: Stop burning your candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.

Choose the Right Size: Keep the size of your space in mind. Our 11 ounce candles are double wicked to fill larger rooms faster, but rooms this size can require a bigger candle to properly fill the area with fragrance. Our 11 ounce candles are double wicked to help fill large spaces.
